About Bronzeville
Bronzeville is a historically significant African-American neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side, known as the "Black Metropolis." It emerged in the early 20th century as a vibrant cultural and economic hub during the Great Migration, when hundreds of thousands of Black Americans moved from the South to Chicago seeking better opportunities and escaping oppression[2][3].
