Connor Patrick Stalions is an American football coach with a diverse background in both the military and sports. Born on July 27, 1995, in Houston, Texas, Stalions grew up in Lake Orion, Michigan, and developed a strong passion for the University of Michigan's football program. His parents, both Michigan alumni, influenced his early interest in coaching. Stalions attended Lake Orion High School, where he played football and basketball, contributing to the school's 2010 MHSAA state football championship. Stalions graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2017, serving as a student-coach for the Navy Midshipmen football program under Ken Niumatalolo. Following his graduation, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2017 to 2022, achieving the rank of Captain. After his military service, Stalions joined the University of Michigan football program as a Defensive Analyst. During his tenure, Michigan won three consecutive Big Ten Championships and the 2023 National Championship. However, his role at Michigan was marred by controversy when he was implicated in a sign-stealing scandal, leading to his resignation. Currently, Stalions is involved in high school coaching. In 2024, he served as the offensive coordinator at Belleville High School, where he worked with Bryce Underwood, the No. 1 recruit in the nation. Stalions has also been featured in the Netflix documentary *Sign Stealer*, which premiered in August 2024. His coaching career has been marked by both success and controversy, with ongoing aspirations to coach at higher levels despite the challenges posed by his past actions.
