About Zach Sieler

Zachary Wilfried Sieler, born September 7, 1995, is an American professional football defensive tackle currently playing for the Miami Dolphins in the National Football League (NFL). Standing 6 feet 6 inches tall and weighing around 300 pounds, Sieler has established himself as a key interior defensive lineman in the league. Sieler played college football at Ferris State University, where he was a two-time All-American and the school's first-ever NFL draft pick in 2018. He joined Ferris State as a walk-on and earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology in 2017. During his collegiate career, he earned multiple honors including Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Lineman of the Year twice, and was twice a finalist for the Cliff Harris National Small College Defensive Player of the Year. He helped lead Ferris State to back-to-back NCAA Division II National Quarterfinal appearances. Selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft (238th overall), Sieler spent parts of two seasons with Baltimore before joining the Miami Dolphins via waivers in December 2019. Since then, he has progressively developed into one of the Dolphins’ defensive leaders, leading the team in sacks, tackles for loss, and quarterback hits in recent seasons. He has been recognized as the Dolphins’ team MVP and earned AFC Defensive Player of the Week honors. Notably, Sieler is the only interior defensive lineman in the NFL to record more than 8.5 sacks in each of the past two seasons, highlighting his impact as a pass rusher.
