**Josh Dun** is an American musician and drummer best known as one half of the musical duo **Twenty One Pilots**, alongside lead vocalist Tyler Joseph.[1][2] Born on June 18, 1988, in Columbus, Ohio, Dun taught himself to play drums around age 12 through a combination of imitation and experimentation.[3][4] Before joining Twenty One Pilots, he worked at Guitar Center for three years and was employed there when he first encountered the band.[1] In March 2010, Dun joined the alternative/Christian rock band House of Heroes as a touring drummer, filling in for Colin Rigsby who was taking a break.
