Adam Jared Brody (born December 15, 1979) is an American actor best known for his breakout role as Seth Cohen on the Fox television series *The O.C.* (2003–2007), which established him as a teen icon. Born and raised in San Diego, California, Brody initially pursued acting after attending community college, moving to Los Angeles to advance his career[2][4][1].
