Georges Niang, born June 17, 1993, in Methuen, Massachusetts, is an American professional basketball player nicknamed "The Minivan" for his sturdy 6'7" frame as a power forward/small forward. He currently plays for the Utah Jazz of the NBA, having rejoined the team in 2025 after stints with multiple franchises.[1][4] Niang's high school career at Tilton School was stellar, where he earned NEPSAC Class AA Player of the Year honors in 2012, averaging 25.1 points and 7.2 rebounds as a senior, and led his team to a championship.
